Welcome to the website of Cygic Recruitment LLC (“Cygic,” “we,” “our” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of cygic.net and all its pages, guides and tools (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Recruitment and executive search services for clients are governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement prevails.

1. Who we are

Cygic is a recruitment and executive search firm that helps Italian, European and international companies hire in the United States. We are not the employer of the candidates we present, and we are not a law firm, tax adviser, immigration attorney, accounting firm, PEO or Employer of Record.

2. Information only, not professional advice

The Employer Hub, the Candidate Hub, our guides, FAQs, checklists and other content are provided for general information. Laws, rates and thresholds change often and vary by state, so content may not be complete or up to date for your situation. Nothing on the Site is legal, tax, immigration, accounting or financial advice, and using the Site does not create an attorney-client or advisory relationship. Before acting, consult a qualified professional. We are happy to introduce you to trusted partners.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;

  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems or other users’ data, or interfere with its security or operation;

  • introduce viruses, malicious code or anything that harms the Site;

  • misrepresent your identity or submit false or misleading information;

  • copy, scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically extract content or data from the Site, including to build databases or to train or improve artificial intelligence models, except for search engines indexing the Site for public search results;

  • frame, mirror or republish the Site or any substantial part of it, or present our content as your own;

  • use the Site to send spam or unsolicited messages.

We may restrict or terminate your access to the Site if we believe you have breached these Terms.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, guides, data compilations, tables, checklists, graphics, logos, images and design, is owned by Cygic Recruitment LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. © 2026 Cygic Recruitment LLC. All rights reserved. The name “Cygic” and our logo are our trademarks.

You may view the Site, print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, and share links to our pages. You may quote short extracts with clear attribution to Cygic Recruitment and a link to the original page. Any other reproduction, translation, adaptation, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written permission.

5. Reporting copying or infringement

If you find our content used without permission, or if you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, email support@cygic.net with the address of the page, a description of the content and your contact details. We review every report and act promptly.

6. Candidates

  • We never charge candidates a fee for our recruitment services.

  • Sending us your CV or contacting us does not guarantee an interview, an offer or a placement.

  • We share your profile with a client only after you agree to be put forward for that specific role.

  • You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to share it.

7. Clients and employers

Content on the Site, calls and emails do not create a business relationship or a commitment to provide services. A formal engagement exists only under a signed Recruitment Services Agreement, which sets out fees, guarantees and all other terms, including for candidates we introduce to you.

8. Information you submit

When you submit information through the Site, by email or through messaging apps, you give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to use it to respond to you and to provide related services. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Communications

If you contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp, LinkedIn or the website chat, you agree that we may reply through the same channel. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

10. Third-party links and tools

The Site may include links to third-party websites and tools, such as government sources, partners or messaging apps. We provide them for convenience and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.

11. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including about accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cygic Recruitment LLC and its owners, employees and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cygic Recruitment LLC and its representatives from any claims, damages, losses or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Arlington, Virginia. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you also keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

15. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
